Introduction
In the past, many people believed that God had a plan for their lives. Some religious groups taught that a person’s future was decided before birth. Today, many people do not follow these beliefs, but a similar idea can be found in modern technology. Online services use algorithms to choose the news, videos, and products that users see. These systems may seem very different from religion, yet both can influence how people understand their choices and their future.
Body
Algorithms are sets of rules that computers use to solve problems or make decisions. On social media, they often choose content based on a user’s past behavior. If someone watches many videos about sports, the system may show more sports videos. This can be useful because it helps people find information they enjoy. However, it can also limit what they see. When users repeatedly receive similar content, they may begin to believe that their interests and opinions are more common than they really are.
This process has something in common with the idea of predestination, a religious belief that some events are decided by God in advance. In both cases, people may feel that their lives are following a path that they did not fully choose. The difference is important, however. Algorithms do not know a person’s future. They make predictions from available data, and those predictions can be wrong. Nevertheless, users may trust the system so much that they stop looking for other possibilities.
Algorithms can also affect people’s sense of personal value. For example, a person who receives many likes on a post may feel successful, while someone who receives few likes may feel ignored. Over time, people may judge themselves through numbers created by online services. This is not exactly the same as seeking approval from a religious community, but both situations show how outside standards can shape personal feelings. People may forget to ask whether their actions reflect their own values.
To avoid this problem, users should understand that algorithms are tools, not authorities. They can compare information from different sources, search for unfamiliar ideas, and think carefully before accepting recommendations. Technology companies also have a responsibility to explain how their systems work and how user data affects the results. Greater understanding can help people make choices more freely.
Conclusion
Religion once helped many people explain their place in the world, while algorithms now influence how people see themselves and others. The two are not the same, but both can shape beliefs without people fully noticing it. Recognizing this influence is the first step toward independent thinking. Instead of treating recommendations as signs of what must happen, people should remember that their future is not completely written by a computer.

Introduction(導入)
Body(本論)
Conclusion(結論)
